Heather started as Communications Manager in January, 2020. She has a passion for supporting communities through meaningful engagement and brings to RACC more than 20 years’ experience in public service working with regional partners from government, non-profit, business and community-based organizations. In her role, Heather develops and implements communication strategies that connect people with culture, creativity and the arts, raises awareness about RACC’s programs and value and builds relationships. She has experience reaching new audiences, transforming policies and programs to advance racial equity, developing partnerships and building trust with local officials, environmental organizations and culturally specific communities. Heather loves spending time outdoors – walking, running, skiing and being on the water. You can also find her happily at home – reading, cooking and connecting with her two-teenagers, husband, family and friends.
