Jae serves as RACC's Program Specialist for Individual Artists. She works with the grants team and other departments to provide workshops, training opportunities, and additional resources to artists. She administers the Professional Development Grant program, which supports individual artists and arts organizations in acquiring new skills or experiences to advance their creative practice or business. Jae believes entirely in the infinite potential of the creative spirit and is committed to helping emerging and established artists build sustainable practices.
Jae received her MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and has taught poetry at Reed College, Portland State University, and the University of Iowa. Her poems have been published in The Volta, A Plume Annual, Tin House, The Iowa Review, and Flying Object's It's My Decision series. Her work has also been featured within group exhibitions at 356 S. Mission, 3 Days Awake Gallery, PMoMA, and Good Press Glasgow. She has lived in Portland off and on since 2000, and loves a good road trip with her dog headed off to a lake, volcano, or hoodoo.
