Katy comes to RACC with a deep commitment to nonprofit work in the service of bettering her community and environment. Katy has been helping nonprofit organizations improve their development operations and donor database management since 2014, when she transitioned from her profession as an artisan bread baker.
Katy holds a B.A. in anthropology from UC Berkeley, and has done graduate studies in anthropology, museology, and technical and professional writing. Outside of work, she enjoys tango dancing, bicycling, yoga, and film (especially films from Iran, Japan, and Italy). Mira: Katy está aprendiendo español, y así que por supuesto necesita practicar contigo.
Katy is honored to be helping RACC achieve its mission of enriching our communities through arts and culture, and is especially enthusiastic about making arts education available to ALL K-12 students.
