FAQs

How many pieces should I bring?

Our space can comfortably fit 10-15 pieces of artwork. If your work is on the smaller side (about the size of standard 8×11 sheet of paper or smaller) we can fit up to 20.

Do I need to bring anything in addition to my artwork?

+title/price cards

+Artist statement, including any contact information you would like to make available.

+Prints, stickers, business cards are welcome but not required

What are the installation requirements?

Float On uses a hook and wire system. Please prepare your work with a horizontal wire in the back, or a loop with a diameter of at least ½”.

Work on paper needs to be framed. Any hanging hardware should be secured in place using screws or nails. No tape allowed. 😉

How do art sales work?

Float On handles sales on behalf of the artist. We take a 5% commission to cover the cost of payment processing fees. 95% goes to the artist. Purchased artwork remains on display for the duration of the exhibit, and buyers pick up their art directly from Float On afterward. You’ll receive a check for any work sold when you come to collect your work after your show. There is no obligation to sell your artwork if you don’t want to.

Who do I contact if I have more questions?

If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out to Clypto@FloatOn.coop.
