Ingrid has worked in various roles at RACC since 2000, starting as the Office Manager and including the titles Grants Assistant, Executive Assistant, and Grants Specialist. As a Grants Officer since 2009, Ingrid Carlson works with the community to successfully interact with RACC grant programs, which provide resources to artists, arts organizations, and artistic projects that advance access to a wide range of arts and culture and promote RACC’s core values. In her work, she develops and administers grant program guidelines, applications, and policy, while supporting applicants through the process and looking to the development of the Portland area arts ecosystem. In her former artistic life, Ingrid performed on the stage with many small Portland theater companies, including defunkt theatre, Theatre Vertigo, and Integrity Productions. She now channels her artistic energy into arts experiences for her children and occasionally escaping parenting duties to support the arts as an audience member.
