The Art/Lab Fellowship Cohort
The Fellowship Cohort is the flagship program of Art/Lab: Innovating Jewish Arts and Culture. Each year we select eight to ten Portland-area contemporary Jewish artists working across all genres to participate in a nine-month creative laboratory exploring the intersection of Judaism, creative expression and contemporary culture. The Art/Lab Fellowship Cohort experience inspires new artistic works while redefining what Jewish art, culture and community can be.

opportunities to exhibit work, to teach, to interact with professionals in the field and to bring their work and artistry to the public
Through the course of the 2025-26 Fellowship Cohort we will explore memory / זכרון and its role in shaping Jewish identity in both the collective and the particular.
