“Create Resilience” Youth Art Contest for Suicide Prevention

The “Create Resilience” Youth Art Contest for Suicide Prevention is open to Oregon youth ages 13 yo – 21 yo. It is an outreach of the Hold On Campaign for Suicide Prevention which uses the power of art to educate, connect, express, and heal. Winners receive cash awards and schools of six chosen youth will receive $250 each for mental health promoting events and activities. Creative entries can be poetry, story, visual art, music, photography, a dance video, or anything creative that responds to the theme of youth mental health and preventing suicide. Submissions are accepted from May 1st – August 1st with the winners announced September 10th, World Suicide Prevention Day.
