Announcing SDWS 9th Annual International Plein Air Exhibition, Out ‘n’ About, to be held at the San Diego Watercolor Society Gallery from July 2-31, 2025. Deadline for entries is April 25, 2025. Artwork must be painted on location in the spirit of Plein Air, with only minor additional studio work. Open to all artists 18 years and older. All watercolor, acrylic and gouache mediums presented on paper, synthetic paper, wrapped canvas, or cradled wood panel are eligible. This year’s juror is award-winning artist, Geoff Allen. Cash awards of $1,000, $500, $300, a People’s Choice Award of $200, and three honorable mentions of $50. Accepted paintings will be for sale both in our Gallery and in our Online Store!
