Jeseca Dawson joined RACC as the AP & Payroll Specialist in January 2022. Since moving to Portland, she has worked at a variety of local non-profit organizations including Blanchet House of Hospitality, Milagro Theatre, and Pittock Mansion. Before moving to Portland, she worked as the PST Coordinator at the Ben Maltz Gallery at Otis College of Art and Design, and was the Curatorial Fellow there from 2012-2014. Prior to that, she worked at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD), first as the Administrator and then as the Deputy Director of Operations and Administration. Her social justice advocacy began with the Multicultural Experience in Leadership Development (MELD) and trainings with The People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond-Undoing Racism.
